Transport

Austria and Switzerland both have superbly structured public transport networks with a comprehensive and reliable timetable. There will also be many extra trains added during UEFA EURO 2008™. Take advantage of this offer and travel by train to matches – quickly, comfortably and without traffic jams.

Arriving at venues
You can find arrival information for all eight venues and the official Fanzones by clicking on links on the right-hand side.

Kombi-ticket
Your match ticket is also a ticket for trains, buses and trams. Each match ticket entitles you to use public transportation free of charge throughout Switzerland and Austria on the day of the match and until 12.00CET the following day. The cut-off point is based on the beginning of your journey.

Without traffic jams
Traffic will be heavy during EURO. It will be almost impossible to avoid traffic jams, and parking space in the inner cities will be very limited. Therefore we recommend you arrive by train, which will also save on parking fees.

Transport by night
Today's broad offer of rail transport will be expanded even further during EURO. Extra trains will travel to venues before and after matches. In most venues extra trains and buses will be added for all key destinations.
